On June 10, 1997 I went The Grand Hotel in Amsterdam where @michaeljackson was staying. He had just thrown a pillow outside and wrote these words on it: “The sunshine is poison for my skin. Please understand. I love you more. Michael Jackson”. A little kid was the lucky receiver of the pillow. Later that day, I saw Michael leaving The Grand in his car as he went to Amsterdam Arena stadium to perform his second HIStory show in The Netherlands of the 1997 leg of the tour. Unfortunately, I did not have tickets to that show.
